Was it a hotbed of illicit activity….prostitution and drugs? Were female inmates transported there and used for their services? Were six of the seven murdered girls involved? Did an unexpected sting….a surprise bust occur there? Who was responsible for the sting? Was the bust indeed covered up….swept under the rug? Why? Was it perhaps because of the participants that were at Boudreaux Inn at the time? Would it have caused a major scandal? Is that where Loretta was killed?
Fact……or fiction?

I heard Norman Clement died there………………
Popeye – who is that? Can you elaborate more?
Norman Clement grew up around Gallup street/Jefferson St. area. McKinley, Craig st. aren’t far from them. At one point we all hung around the same folks. I grew up around Tracee, Loretta and Brittney’s mom’s family. A lot of folks from the “south” side of town knew each other or knew of each other.

I typed “south” but most of the folks back then thought of ourselves as from the west side of Jennings. South of the railroad tracks.
I might be kind of late on this one but I have to comment. Norman has been on my mind for a while now. He died at Boudreaux Inn during Hurricane Rita. It was a “so called” overdose, but his mom who has told me on several occassions said that when his step dad went to identify his body there were marks on his neck like he had been strangled. His mom said she begged RE for an autopsy but he refused since it was “an overdose”
Another “nurder” That could possibly be connected! UGH!! So frustrating!
I meant MURDER!
